The result exceeded all our expectations.
Although we had a particularly cold winter this year, the house was really warm & comfortable & we only had to have the heating on for 3/4 hours a day.
We split the system in 6 separate zones and therefore we could really control the heating easily. Our gas bill was really low in the winter months:around €75 a month including cooking & hot water!!

“A sample Live Work Unit in Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Co.Dublin, was fitted out in 2006 with Thermodul skirting board radiators combined with an exhaust air heat pump as a “Green” (lower energy, lower CO2, Renewable) alternative to the conventional radiators and gas fired boiler installed in other units.
This gave a simpler, more cost effective installation that was current Part L (2007) compliant, achieving an “A” Building Energy Rating (BER) compared to the “C” BER of the conventional unit.
The end user found that the Thermodul skirting radiators gave maximum flexibility when laying out their office furniture and contributed to a very comfortable level of overall heat in the space”
